Teaching Materials

While I often use traditional teaching materials like outlines and notes, much of my student-facing material is intended to capture my students' interests and make complex texts and ideas feel more approachable. Oftentimes, more extensive notes and writing will be accompanied by slides and visuals that distill the notes and writing into evocative learning resources. The same goes for my syllabus, which I provide to students in both a standard format and a more visually engaging format as shown below. Additionally, for each new author I teach in a course, I produce a "banner" with a depiction of the author and a short tagline for what their approach will entail.

I am more than happy to provide anonymized teaching evaluations upon request.
